BEXAR COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY
MEETING OF COUNTY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
TUESDAY, August 7, 2007

A meeting of the Democratic Party County Executive Committee was held at Bexar County Headquarters on Tuesday, August 7, 2007  Present at 6:00 o’clock p.m., the appointed time for the meeting, were the County Chair, Carla Vela, as well as Deputy Chair Ian Straus, SDEC Members Madeleine Dewar and Zada True-Courage, John McConnell and Jane Humble, secretary. 

The meeting was called to order by the Chair at 6:10 p.m. Copies of the agenda, Treasurer’s July financial report and a Resolution recognizing the heroic efforts of Senator Mario Gallegos, Jr. during the recent legislative session were available.  However, since a quorum was not present, no business could be conducted, and Ian Straus made a motion that we adjourn.  The motion was seconded by John McConnell and passed without discussion.

 There were no other committee reports, no unfinished or new business and no announcements other than the changed date of the Steering Committee to Wednesday, August 08, 2007.  The meeting was therefore adjourned at 6:12 p.m.

  After adjournment of the meeting, with most of the above mentioned individuals still present, Richard Barber arrived at approximately 6:25 p.m.
